Earlier this month, we took our seniors to the West Beach Mini-Golf course to enjoy a day outside under the warm sunshine. It was an exciting for our seniors who were eager to return to the golf course after the fun time they had last year! This time, the seniors enjoyed a friendly competition among themselves. They spent an equal amount of time posing and snapping pictures with the amusing statues!

We spent time after to have a nice lunch to catch-up with friends and catch some rest after the tough competition!

Our seniors also spent some time after at Henley beach and strolling along the jetty while enjoying the ocean breeze.

We’re excited to hold more events for our Muslim seniors in the future!

Seniors Mini Golf in March

The seniors had their first experience playing golf on 12 March 2020 at West Beach Mini Golf.

Each of them was given a club and a ball and required to complete 18 stations throughout the course. Although it was a simple action – swinging the club lightly to putt a golf ball into a hole – they were perspiring and had a good workout. The activity helps to improve their balance, strength and hand-eye coordination.

Overall, the seniors had a ‘hole’ lot of fun competing with their friends in a spectacular setting.
