Surviving the Ocean of Depression

22 February 2018 – Surviving the Ocean of Depression was an interesting program where participants aged between 35 to 70,  took part in sharing their experiences that lead them to depression and ways they adapt to deal with them. It was heartening to note that most felt happy after sharing their stories since they hardly get such opportunities to express their feelings or share it with anyone. For some, it is an ongoing battle, nevertheless, they put on a brave face.

MWASA would like to thank David Denborough, community worker, teacher and writer/editor for Dulwich Centre, for taking the time to faciliate the session. His involvment enabled the participants to form a support network and draw lessons and motivation from each other.
